Northport Veterans Administration Medical Center, Northport, New York

June 17, 2015 was a special day at the Northport, Long Island, New York veteran's hospital.  It was a great opportunity for disabled veterans to bring their Angel Bikes and ride while being safely escorted around the hospital roadways by members of the Veterans Administration Police force.

Later in the afternoon a luncheon was held during which Cyndi Ventura, founder of Angel Bikes, Inc., and her family presented two Angel Bikes to disabled veterans in need of them.

These donated Angel Bikes were made possible by the fantastic and very generous fund raising efforts of American Legion Post 1066 members in Massapequa, New York led by Post Commander Greg Greene.  As of 2015, over seventeen Angel Bikes have been donated to disabled American war veterans, free of charge, as a direct result of Commander Greene and Post 1066's tireless hard work.  These Angel Bikes went to disabled veterans throughout the metro New York City area as well as to veterans from other parts of the country via the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland.
